Uniform

At King Charles we encourage all pupils to wear our school uniform.

We believe that this helps give our children the feeling that they belong to a close school community as well as giving them a sense of pride in their school and their appearance. 

The school is committed to ensuring that its school uniform is affordable and accessible to all pupils, and does not place an unreasonable financial burden on parents.

Our uniform consists of: 

Grey/ black trousers/ skirt/ dress (or shorts in the summer)

KS2 formal white shirt and tie      

KS1 white polo shirt (no tie)       

White / grey socks, grey tights or and black shoes

Red jumper/ cardigan    (Logo optional) 

Red and white checked summer dress.

For safety reasons, particularly when using sports apparatus equipment, we feel a sensible PE kit is very important. 

Our PE kits consists of: 

Black shorts

White t shirt 

Pumps (black) or trainers.

Please ensure that all items of your child’s uniform are named. 

Children can wear uniform without logos and all items of clothing can be purchased from supermarkets or clothing retailers.
